01 Step
You step.
The top of the tile sinks a few millimetres under your weight. You don't change a thing about how you walk.
Close your eyes.
It's Monday. 7:58 AM.
Beneath your feet, something is happening.
Energy.Yours.Wasted.
Not anymore.
Footsteps on Gonzaga's campus, every day
35,000,000
About 5,300 undergraduates. 6,000 to 8,000 steps each. Every one of them produces nothing. Until now.
86% of the 165 students we surveyed say sustainability matters to them. The problem isn't that people don't care. They can't see their impact.
What you can't see, you can't change.
We build what it becomes.
The tiles come from our hardware partner Pavegen, the UK-based leader in kinetic flooring. Pavegen builds the hardware. We turn it into visible impact on campus: the energy, the data and the community around it.
